Another Minnesota girlie! I love thrifting for books at Goodwill! The prices are the best and I love being able to give the books a new home. I adore Abby Jiminez and her books! She's also a Minnesota girlie. She was actually a winner on the show cupcake wars and she has a bakery called Nadia Cakes in 2 different locations and they also sell signed copies of her books! I think it's neat, you should check it out! I haven't read all of her books, but some of them take place in Minnesota and I think it's so fun read a book when you are familiar with the location. You MUST read her books!

Hello fellow Minnesotan! Also as someone who’s task it was to organize the books when I worked at Goodwill I absolutely loved it! I got to see all the books firsthand and go and grab em at the end of my shift if they were still there by that time.

I highly recommend the A Discovery of Witches series by Deborah Harkness. It’s a supernatural romance whose main character is a historian who spends all her time in libraries. It’s been turned into a tv series as well. It’s one of my favourites. The author is still adding books to the series as well (she happens to be an actual historian in real life, so it’s very accurate).

I most of all just check out some books I tend to read from the library. But some of those I tend to read fills up my mind with positivity things about what I would like to do and where I want to go in my life time. Ugh I wish I would have kept my childhood books 😭 Hurricane Katrina took a lot of my childhood memories unfortunately. The Corduroy book 📕 has me feeling so nostalgic.

I would cover that bookcase with crystals. Crystals are my obsession! I went to a PRIDE event yesterday, and they had a crystal vendor. I ended up getting myself a natural dark smokey quartz (It’s amazing! One of the crystals is tabular, but it’s twin flame style!), carnelian flower agate free form, raw chunk of blue-green fluorite, and a beautiful candle quartz. And I bought a quartz tower for my daughter, whom badly wanted to come(She’s part of the community, and gets excited for this kind of thing.), but didn’t because she wasn’t feeling well. I do like smelly soaps, but my skin doesn’t, so I can’t use them.
